Starting point
In October 2025 the site recorded 10.4K clicks and 1.29M impressions in Search Console at an average position of 12.4; the regional service cluster sat at 4.36K clicks, 396K impressions and position 12.
The site needed stronger technical foundations and clearer alignment between commercial intent and service pages, and new content had to rank without years of accumulated domain authority. Regional and audience-specific searches needed more than a small set of generic pages.
What we did
- Fixed crawl, indexation and internal-linking issues, so search engines could discover and understand the site reliably and new pages ranked without waiting on domain authority.
- Built topical authority one cluster at a time around ECO4, insulation, boiler grants and renewable schemes.
- Mapped high-intent commercial keywords to dedicated landing pages for homeowners, landlords and property developers, using Search Console data to guide each iteration.
- Designed the landing-page system to carry paid demand as well, so the organic and paid teams sent traffic to the same tested pages rather than competing journeys.
Results
- More than 1.6M organic sessions, and organic visibility up 310%.
- More than 250 commercial keywords on the first page.
- Site-wide, November 2025 recorded 12.9K clicks and 1.78M impressions, up from 10.4K and 1.29M in October, with average position improving from 12.4 to 11.
- In the regional service cluster, clicks rose 37% and impressions 88% month on month, with average position improving from 12 to 8.2.
- More than 185K qualified enquiries across SEO and paid activity together.
What moved
What this study does not show
- Click-through rate fell as impressions grew: 0.8% to 0.7% site-wide, and 1.1% to 0.8% in the regional cluster. Visibility is expanding faster than clicks, the usual shape of a cluster that has reached page one but not the top positions.
- The 185K enquiries figure is blended across SEO and paid, so it cannot be attributed to organic work alone, and the 1.6M sessions span a period the brief does not date.
- The client is not named.
Evidence
Every figure on this page is transcribed from the engagement brief, which is linked below. Where the brief includes a platform screenshot, the section above says what it shows and for which period; where it does not, the study says so. The client is not named, so the figures cannot be checked against a public property.
